I also have a peach tree, several pears, other apples and an apricot. When we arrived here the apricot was suffering from broken and split branches so it was one of the first to be operated on. There will be no fruit this year but the new growth is strong and with further surgery in the autumn I should have a well shaped tree as well as fruit next year.
